I have a solution for you and it might just prove to be a better one than buying a new textbook. Try Algebrator, it covers a pretty comprehensive list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. With it you can solve various types of problems and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular solution . I tried it when I was having difficulty solving questions based on algebra +worksheet for kids and I really enjoyed using it.

Algebrator is very useful, but please never use it for copy pasting solutions. Use it as a guide to understand and clear your concepts only.

Of course. My aim is to learn Math. I would use it only as a tool to clear my concepts. Can I get the link to the software?

This one is actually quite different. I am recommending it only after trying it myself. You can find the information about the software at https://algbera.com/college-algebra-course-outline.html.
